It is hard enough to land a Jason Aldean or Luke Bryan interview nowadays, let alone the chance to speak to them back-to-back in one day.
But that’s exactly what happened to me, and I took full advantage of the situation by asking the two superstars the same question to get their different takes.
When Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan Go to Dinner, Who Pays?
First up, Jason Aldean.
He laughed, thought about it and said, “Umm, him if I can help it, ya know? Him, if I can pull it off.”
Aldean would go out of his way to make sure the bill landed on Bryan’s side of the table.
Both of these gentlemen are worth many millions of dollars, so it’s not a matter of who can afford to pick up the check; it’s more of a rib on the other to make them get stuck with the bill.
Next, Luke Bryan answered the same question.
“Uh, we’ll probably do a little credit card roulette or something, ya know? Throw them in a hat.”
It’s interesting to note the contrasting answers from the two friends that have been by one another’s side, supporting one another for more than two decades.

While Aldean would be hyper-focused on making sure the server places the bill on Bryan’s side to get him to pay for the meal, Bryan wants it to be a fair exchange by picking one of their credit cards out of a hat.
When you look at past interviews, the two pals seem to enjoy ribbing one another from time to time, but when they get serious about their friendship, you can easily tell that the two Georgia boys really are friends and fans of one another.
