
A man pleaded guilty to killing two people within the same week in Albuquerque.Your neighborhood: Local news from KOAT Action 7 NewsKevin Geier admitted to the killings, which happened five days apart from each other in March 2018, according to Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman. The two victims, identified as Adrian Johnson and Samuel Almanza, died after being found with gunshot wounds in the back of their heads. Johnson was found in northeast Albuquerque at a parking lot apartment complex, Almanza was found in a motel room on the west side. Investigators believe the killings were drug related.The two deaths led to Geier leaving New Mexico to Arizona, where he was arrested. Geier was found with several firearms, including one stolen which belonged to Almanza.Geier faces more than 40 years in prison at sentencing. He is already serving time for a third murder that took place that same month.
