Lainey Wilson is set to headline 2026 Stagecoach this weekend and she is planning her biggest show ever for the occasion.

Wilson was a guest on SiriusXM’s How’s Life where host John Mayer got her talking about her upcoming headlining set at Stagecoach.

The “Heart Like A Truck” singer says, “We talking, like, your girl’s never done pyro. I’m doing pyro.”

“We’re doing all kinds of stuff,” she continues. “I’m gonna have some guests. I just wanna, I want it to be a different experience.”

Why is Lainey Wilson’s Stagecoach Performance Going to Be Such a Big Moment?

“I mean, there’s gonna be probably a hundred thousand people there and a lot of people tuning in too,” she continues.

“I wanna make sure that it’s an experience. Yes, there on the fairgrounds, but also when people are watching on the other side of the world,” Wilson relates. “I want ’em to feel like they’re there, so I’ve got a lot of really cool ideas. We’re about to really get into the thick of it.”

Has Lainey Wilson Played Stagecoach Before?

Yes, just not as the headliner. Wilson played Stagecoach in both 2022 and 2023.

• 2023: Performed on the main Mane Stage, which included a performance with Brooks & Dunn.

Wilson told Mayer that she is proud to have come so far since those days.

“I mean, it wasn’t but just a few years ago we were playing the SiriusXM Highway stage in the middle with no cover. Our computers got too hot and, you know, didn’t have tracks that day. It was just…a couple hundred people,” the singer recalls.
