The light heavyweight division has a new king, as Carlos Ulberg overcame injury to notch a first-round knockout over Jiří Procházka in the main event at UFC 327 at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Saturday night.
Everything seemed to favor the former light heavyweight champion early in the fight as Procházka was piecing up a hobbled Ulberg. But, as he was cornered, Ulberg landed a Hail Mary of a left hook that dropped Procházka for the victory. Ulberg now joins Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya as City Kickboxing fighters to win a UFC title.
Also on the card, former middleweight contender Paulo Costa established himself as a contender at light heavyweight with a win over Azamat Murzakanov. And Josh Hokit continued his cringe-worthy ascent at heavyweight with an unforgettable unanimous decision win over Curtis Blaydes.
Brett Okamoto, Andreas Hale and Dre Waters break down all the action from UFC 327 in Miami.
