Harper Dunn represents Albuquerque Academy at USA Basketball minicamp
She joined elite players at the USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team minicamp in Phoenix
Top High School New Mexico Women’s basketball recruit, Albuquerque Academy’s Harper Dunn, participated in the 2026 USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team minicamp. The fourth annual women’s minicamp took place in Phoenix from April 2-5.Minicamp participants will represent the high school graduating classes of 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030. Athletes and coaches were selected by the USA Basketball Women’s Developmental National Team Committee. Athletes participated in on-court drills and scrimmages, attended a series of educational presentations and attended the Women’s March Madness tournament semifinal games.Dunn was selected as one of 15 players among the class of 2027. Last year, Dunn was selected as a finalist for the 2025 USA Women’s under 16 national team after participating in trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She also attended the Junior National Team in Tampa, Florida.The 6 feet 6 inches forward finished her first season at Albuquerque Academy after her transfer to Corona High School. This year, Dunn scored 14.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 5.3 blocks per game, according to MaxPreps.Dunn has received several Division I offers from universities across the country, but has not decided her next stop in her basketball journey.
