It’s only April, but Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have already put a huge amount of work in on their garden this year.
In fact, they might have bitten off more than they can chew.
Stefani shared an update on the couple’s Oklahoma garden on social media, sharing video of their current work in progress: An enormous purple iris garden.

“This project has been one of those, ‘This is a good idea. No, it’s not,’ [things],” Stefani jokes in a voiceover describing their gardening plans.
“This is our iris garden,” she continues.
Most recently, the couple got custom tags for all the different plants. The tags have names like “Gwen and Blake’s Purple Iris,” “Family Pride” and more.
“We had to put them in and it took all day,” Stefani explains.
Why Do Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Love Purple Irises?
It’s a special flower to the couple.
In 2024, they released a duet called “Purple Irises” that Stefani said was about “the idea that when you plant something, you are planting hope and watching love grow.” Of course, it’s about flowers, but it’s also about their love story.
Shelton and Stefani married in July 2021 at a chapel on their Oklahoma property.
They’ve since developed their gardening hobby. Stefani appears to be the mastermind, but Shelton’s a willing helper: The new video shows him toting pots of irises and tending to the plants.
What Else is Going On At Blake Shelton + Gwen Stefani’s House?
Stefani’s children make brief appearances in the video, and there’s a shot of someone — perhaps one of her sons — riding a dirt bike.
Stefani’s two older children, Kingston and Zuma, are both musical. They’ve given performances at the Oklahoma location of Shelton’s Ole Red bar in the past.

In particular, Zuma seems to be following in his country star step-dad’s footsteps: He treated the crowd at Ole Red to a country show, including a cover of John Michael Montgomery’s “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),” during a set in July 2025.
