INFERI Unleash Apocalyptic Fury With New Single “Godless Sky”

Extreme death metal masters Inferi have returned with a crushing new single, “Godless Sky,” accompanied by a new performance video. The track offers a glimpse of the devastation to come on their forthcoming full-length, Heaven Wept, set for release on April 10, 2026 via The Artisan Era.

Vocalist Stevie Boiser explains the conceptual weight of the track: “‘Godless Sky’ captures the descent into prophetic mania. A mind fractured by the crescendo of our seemingly inevitable race towards self annihilation. In the absence of our deity, we’ve penned a new end to the human odyssey. It’s the torment of baring witness, and the dreadful revelation that you are hopeless to stop it.”

Pre-orders and pre-saves for Heaven Wept are now available. Inferi will also hit the road this spring as direct support for Defeated Sanity on their North American tour. New Zealand death metal outfit Organectomy will support all dates, while Excresence, Scasm, and Horrific Vision appear at select stops.

Additionally, Inferi are set to perform at producer Dave Otero‘s inaugural Flatline Festival on June 13-14 at the Oriental Theater in Denver, CO, promising an unmissable dose of technical brutality for fans of extreme metal.
