WARGASM (FFO: POPPY, LIMP BIZKIT) Are Finishing Up Their Second Record

What a hell of a name, Wargasm is. I can’t lie – it’s fun. And it’s seeming like there is more fun on the horizon as the electro-metal duo posted a quick teaser to social media suggesting that they’re nearly finished with their second record.

Milkie Way (legal name Rachel Alexandra Hastings) and Sam Matlock‘s project received nods from Revolver, Metal Hammer, Kerrang!, and Alternative Press all before their debut was even conceived, the lauds multiplying from NME, Rock Sound, and AllMusic at the release of their first record, Venom. So, with a second record on the horizon, chances are we’ll hear a lot more from the group.

The video showcases Matlock and Way on a ‘nature retreat’ as the text describes, with an audio that has a man saying the words, “It’s like people only do things because they get paid. And that’s just really sad,” before the video blacks out at the same time as a thrash of sound. The video’s caption states: “ALBUM TWO – on site for the final recording session x.” You can check it out for yourself below.

Wargasm are set to be on tour for the majority of June throughout Europe, hitting up quite a few festivals like Rock Im Park and Graspop Metal Meeting, their current schedule as following.
