Haste The Day originally returned in 2024 with a new single called “Burn”, but they’ve got so much more in store. Haste The Day is now streaming “Oblivion” from their first new record since 2015, Dissenter, due out on May 1 via Solid State Records.
“‘Oblivion’ is a cinematic, apocalyptic metalcore track that leans into scale and emotion,” the band said. “The song balances heaviness with atmosphere, creating a sense of finality and awe. Lyrically, ‘Oblivion’ tells an apocalyptic love story — grappling with loss, reconnection, and what it means to step into the void at the end of all things.”
Pre-orders for Dissenter are available here. Haste The Day also announced a run of tour dates set for May. They will also appear at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky in September. All upcoming performances are below.
