EXODUS Unleash Final Pre-Release Single “Promise You This” Ahead Of Goliath

Date:

Bay Area thrash metal pioneers Exodus are back with a vengeance thanks to their latest single “Promise You This,” the final one from their highly anticipated 12th studio album, Goliath.

Fueled by cyclonic riffs and turbocharged soloing from guitarist and main songwriter Gary Holt, “Promise You This” channels the band’s unrelenting power. Vocalist Rob Dukes adds his commanding presence, marking a strong return that underscores Exodus‘ enduring thrash supremacy.

“‘Promise You’ This is one of our favorite songs on the new record, it’s just heavy as fuck but rocks just as hard. The song was inspired by some of the life lessons learned from my father and how long it took me to really listen,” Dukes shared.

Even after more than 40 years in the game, Exodus remain fiercely committed to their craft. Refusing the safety of mediocrity, the band continues to forge their trademark thrash sound, delivering a multifaceted album that features several epic collaborations while staying true to the feral intensity that has defined them since their inception.

Pre-order Goliath here. Exodus will join Sepultura for their final North American tour alongside Biohazard and Tribal Gaze.

The Celebrating Life Through Death tour kicks off April 29 in Montclair, NJ and will hit major cities including Montreal, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles. The run concludes May 29 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, closing a monumental chapter in heavy music history. Get your tickets here.
