Iron Maiden are stepping onto the big screen. Tickets are now on sale for Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition, as the official trailer for the highly anticipated documentary debuts today.
Formed in East London in 1975, Iron Maiden has grown into a global phenomenon. Over 50 years, the band has released 17 studio albums, sold over 100 million records, and performed nearly 2,500 concerts in 64 countries, earning a place as one of the world’s most enduring and influential rock acts.
The documentary features all six members of the band – Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Bruce Dickinson, Nicko McBrain, and Janick Gers – alongside longtime manager Rod Smallwood.
Guest appearances include Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich, and Chuck D. Directed by Malcolm Venville (Churchill at War) and produced by Dominic Freeman (Spirits in the Forest – A Depeche Mode Film), the film promises a comprehensive and intimate look at the band’s legendary rise and sustained dominance.
Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition will hit theaters in the US and Canada on May 7, 2026, for a limited run, followed by a general wide release globally.
