Long Island’s occult black/death metal project Teloch Vovin has unveiled Towards The Inevitable, a new release marking the debut of the band’s new label, An Eastern Temple Productions, in collaboration with Thus Spake Qayin Records. Scheduled for May 8, 2026, the release will be available on CD and digital platforms, with preorders now open alongside exclusive merch.
Towards The Inevitable fuses black metal with death, doom, and traditional metal influences, while layering classical and ambient/electronic elements to mirror the band’s occult practices. Originally recorded years ago for a split that never materialized, the tracks have been revamped and updated with crushing production to capture the raw aggression and hypnotic atmosphere of the band.
Drums were recorded and engineered by Ash at The Percussion Bunker, bass by Saturnus at The Grotto, and guitars self-recorded at Wind‘s Lord Studios. Grigori handled vocals and guitars, while mixing and mastering duties were executed by Mike Usifer at Usifer Sound Studios and Aural Assault Studio. The release also features:
- A guest guitar solo by Sebastian Ramstedt
- Hebrew language passages spoken by Avi Levi
- A four-part closing suite, “Panzer Fist,” integrating violin, viola, and cello by Ben Karas, with additional classical compositions by Stephen Morris and Grigori
- Visual elements include a front cover by Eam XI, interior artwork by Zeroth Q-ayn, photography by David Simmons and Casey Heney, and layout by The Temple Of The Headless One.
The band has also released a video for “The Rite Ov The Harvest Pt 1: The Rite Ov The Reaper’s Blade”, produced by Mary Neary. Thus Spake Qayin Records will be handling the CD release and a line of new merch items. Find digital preorders here and physical preorders and merch here.
