KOAT obtained the air traffic control audio from Live ATC following a deadly plane crash at Los Altos Golf Course in Albuquerque.The audio played details the conversation between an air traffic controller and the small aircraft. A person on the aircraft stated it was losing power and needed to land at the nearest airport.The two sides discussed where the nearest airport was, which air traffic control said they were about four miles from the nearest airport. The air traffic controller then stated he lost radar on the small plane.This led air traffic control to work with law enforcement and other agencies to find a specific location for where the aircraft may have landed.
