Arrest made in Albuquerque after armed vehicle theft

Officers were able to arrest a suspect after responding to a report of a vehicle stolen at gunpoint.An Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson said an adult male allegedly stole a vehicle while armed around1:20 p.m. Thursday, March 5. A standoff occurred in the area of San Mateo Boulevard NE, north of Central Avenue.Sky 7 flew over the scene and saw the vehicle had branding of ABQ Raw, an independent media outlet in Albuquerque.
