Around 7:30 on Thursday morning, Lindsay and Lily were taking care of two dogs for *** friend on Cartla Drive in Denison when the two dogs started attacking each other, and that is when everything suddenly changed. The two dogs then lunged at Lindsay and began attacking her. Lily, her response to what was going on with her mother was to take the cell phone and lock herself in the bathroom and dial 911. Police arrived minutes later and as soon as they jumped out of the car, the dogs attacked them. Officers shot both dogs, killing one of them. One of the officers began trying to save Lindsey’s life, and they took her to *** local hospital in critical condition. All of this while Lily was watching, she witnessed her mother. On the ground rolling around being attacked by multiple dogs with wounds and. Things of that nature and. It is *** very intense situation for my family and still Lily is reassuring her dad that everything will be OK. She’s told me Dad mom’s gonna be OK. I know mom’s gonna be OK.
