During a weekend snowstorm, a suspect armed with an ax broke into an Oklahoma business, stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise. The suspect, identified as Jacob Mize, was caught on surveillance video breaking into Breakpoint Cards and Collectibles, stealing nearly $30,000 worth of merchandise before being apprehended. Edmond police released new body camera video showing that Mize led officers on a chase before crashing a stolen vehicle. He then attempted to run away, jumping fences in a neighborhood before being caught. Police told Mize, who was shirtless, to get on the ground before handcuffing him. Mize was taken into custody and checked out at a hospital. Officers said the stolen items were recovered.
