Back in 2016, vocalist of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster (and ex co-founder of Underoath), Dallas Taylor, sustained “tons of broken stuff, lacerations, internal bleeding and head injuries” in a four-wheeler accident in Florida (Blabbermouth). After being airlifted to the hospital and then later spent years gaining his mobility back, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster made their return to the stage in 2022 with Taylor.
Live shows have been a bit sporadic – and that’s a given, considering what happened – but there may be light at the end of the tunnel for Maylene and the Sons of Disaster fans as the band announce a new show in West Palm Beach, FL next year. January 21st, 2026, the group is set to take the stage at Respectable Street alongside Thirst and Shinkaza.
The announcement came on Friday, with Limitless Agency in Florida, posting the tour graphic to social media, tagging MATSOD, Thirst, and Shinkaza. The caption reads: “Crazy show announcement for 2026! @matsod returns to South Florida for the first time in 10+ years! Coming to @respectablestreet with locals @thirst_fl & @shinkazafl.”
