Charter Communications Profit Falls as Internet Subscriber Base Weakens

Charter Communications CHTR 1.26%increase; green up pointing triangle reported lower third-quarter profit as increased competition from fixed wireless and fiber connection hurts its broadband internet business.

The broadband communications company reported net income of $1.14 billion, or $8.34 a share, down from $1.28 billion, or $8.82 a share, the year prior.
