ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Hold onto Hope suitcase drive, held by Be the Blessing, the Richard Montoya Organization, collects suitcases for kids in CYFD custody. This allows children to take as much of their personal belongings with them when they are moved.
The suitcase drive supports kids in CYFD custody throughout the state. Anyone who wishes to participate can donate a new or gently used suitcase or duffel bag. Suitcases and bags can be dropped off at any CYFD office in New Mexico before November 1. The organization holds other drives and events throughout the year.
