Actor and singer Donnie Wahlberg shared a video on social media over the weekend, saying he was on board a plane that skidded off the runway at Las Vegas’ main airport.

In an Instagram video posted hours after the incident, the “Boston Blue” star said he was aboard an aircraft at Harry Reid International Airport when it overshot the runway as the plane attempted to take off.
“We were taking off and didn’t get up in the air and ran out of runway. I’m just going to tell you these pilots saved our lives. And God covered us,” Wahlberg, 57, said.
He said the aircraft went off the runway and into a fence. The actor said the plane was able to avoid “heavy” airport equipment and vehicles.
“Thankful to God, of course, and to our incredible pilots who did an amazing job of keeping us safe and avoiding a serious disaster,” he said in the post’s caption. “The airplane did take some lumps — but we did not. Thank you to all the emergency personnel on the ground in Las Vegas! You all were absolutely wonderful. All glory to God! By His grace, we are all ok.”
People Magazine, in reference to the Federal Aviation Administration, said Wahlberg was on a Dassault Falcon 50 bound for Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada. Eight people were aboard the plane when the pilot aborted the takeoff and the plane went off the runway.
Harry Reid International Airport said no known injuries were reported and that some travelers may have experienced delays.
A ground stop was put in place at the airport at 12:50 p.m., but it was lifted by 2:30 p.m.
