Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said there was no indication of any argument or altercation.Tisch said a gang-related killing happened in the same block earlier in the week, and police are investigating if the two events are linked.The eight people found with gunshot wounds were taken to multiple hospitals in the area.“There is no place for this kind of violence in our city.
