
Eight children were killed in a domestic disturbance in Shreveport, Louisiana. According to police, 10 people were shot on Sunday morning during a domestic disturbance. The victims range in age from one to 14 years old. Some of the children shot were related to the suspect, Police Chief Wayne Smith said.The Shreveport Police Department says they responded to a shooting just before 6 a.m. and determined that this was a domestic call in nature. Officials said they were still gathering details about the crime scene, which extended across three locations. Officers located a crime scene near Linwood Ave. and discovered another residence on Harrison Street, which was part of the crime scene as well.When leaving the scene, the person responsible for the shooting stole a car near the corner of West 79th and Wynwood.Police got behind the car, and a chase ensued. At this time, three police officers discharged their firearms, shooting and killing the person.According to police, they believe he was the only person who fired gunshots at the location.
