Canelo Alvarez-Jermell Charlo live results and analysis

Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo will fight for Alvarez’s super middleweight title on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas , this is an undisputed championship battle.

Alvarez (59 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses, 39 KOs) holds all four major boxing belts at 168 pounds, while Charlo (35 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss, 19 KOs) is the undisputed one at 154 pounds champion. Charlo moved up two divisions, replacing his twin brother Jermall, who was the original opponent for the match but withdrew due to personal issues.

During a press conference at the MGM Grand on Wednesday, Alvarez said he felt like Charlo didn’t believe in his talent and he wanted to prove him wrong.

“He never believed in my skills,” Alvarez said at a news conference. “He’s been calling me out. Now I get a chance to show him my skills. He’ll feel it. It’s hard to explain, but it’s just something different. He’s not used to being around a fighter like me.”

Charlo said he’s not looking down on Alvarez, but added that Alvarez has never been in the ring with a fighter like him.

“I don’t think Canelo has faced a fighter of my caliber,” Charlo said. “He’s been in fights with great boxers, but what I bring is much different than anyone he’s ever seen. No matter what he says, I’m going to win this fight. We’ll see you on Saturday. If he has Prove to me that he has the skills and that’s it. I’m here to win.”
