Raiders DE Chandler Jones arrested in Las Vegas

Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones was arrested Friday in Las Vegas, according to online jail records.

As of late Friday morning, Jones was listed as an inmate at the Clark County Detention Center. He was held on $15,000 bail on suspicion of violating a domestic violence temporary protective order, according to jail records.

Jones, 33, has not played in a game this season and has been away from the Raiders since Labor Day weekend, when he posted a series of tweets on social media targeting the team, owner Mark Davis, general manager Dave Zeiger Post by Le and coach Josh McDaniels. On September 20, the Raiders placed Jones on the non-football illness list.

Jones wrote on social media Monday night that he was taken to the hospital by the Las Vegas Fire Department last week “against my will” and was later transferred to a behavioral health facility.

He also made numerous posts on social media on Thursday, including multiple live videos in which he could be seen sitting outside his home talking aimlessly about a number of topics.

The Raiders have repeatedly treated Jones’ situation as a private matter and declined further comment.
