2 occupants displaced after structure fire in northeast Albuquerque

Firefighters say flames were coming out of the garage, but was under control within minutes

Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on Vulcan Vista Drive in Northeast Albuquerque Saturday. Firefighters say when they got to the home, the flames were in the garage.The fire was brought under control within four minutes of the fire department’s arrival. No injuries were reported, but two occupants were displaced. AFR command contacted the Red Cross for shelter services.
